System Administrator

Role Overview

Join the TWG Tea Company in Singapore as a System Administrator, where your primary responsibility is to oversee server administration and maintain operational reliability. You'll manage key infrastructure components including firewalls, antivirus endpoints, backups, and more, ensuring smooth daily server and network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee server maintenance and daily operational tasks including reviewing batch jobs and resolving problems.
• Manage infrastructure elements such as firewalls, antivirus software, and backup servers.
• Support IT infrastructure aspects in store and site renovation projects, covering CCTV, biometric access systems, and related technologies.
• Conduct monthly reviews and recommend security patches for deployment on servers and network devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and housekeeping for servers and network health.
• Lead staff IT literacy training initiatives.
• Create automation scripts and runbooks and enforce IT protocols across multiple stakeholders.

Requirements and Skills

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of practical experience with Active Directory, scripting, DNS/DHCP, firewall management, Office 365, Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, JIRA, Microsoft Planners, Hyper-V, WSUS, antivirus solutions, Microsoft SQL, and Oracle SQL servers.
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities with fluency in English; Mandarin skills are an advantage for supporting North Asia regions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
• Willingness to travel for project implementations.
