Overview

Role Details
As a Support Worker, you will experience varied daily activities within our 24/7 service framework, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Your work will not only involve practical support such as meal preparation, shopping, household tasks, personal care, transport, and medication administration but also encourage personal growth and independence in those you assist. You will be expected to respond resiliently and exercise sound judgment in sometimes challenging environments.
Candidate Requirements
Prior health or disability sector experience is not mandatory; however, a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential. Full training and orientation will be provided to those ready to develop their skills. Candidates must be physically fit, possess strong communication skills, be comfortable with daily computer and tablet use, and hold a full New Zealand driver's licence. Flexibility to cover various shifts including weekends and overnight is required.
