Opportunity Overview
Join Sunnyfield's Community Hub in Tweed Heads and build a meaningful career where flexibility, impact, and connection are central. This full-time position requires availability between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday, working regular shifts within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support aimed at fostering independence for people with disabilities.
- Assist participants with personal care needs sensitively and respectfully.
- Support social engagement and the development of new skills through various activities.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with both participants and their families.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records while ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude and creativity in collaborative settings.
- Previous experience working within the disability sector is essential.
- Ability to remain calm and confident when supporting individuals exhibiting complex behaviors.

Mandatory Requirements
- Flexibility to work any hours within the 7am to 7pm timeframe Monday to Friday.
- Possession of clear and current checks, including NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, and National Criminal History Record Check.
- Provision of two professional references.
- A valid driver’s license.
