Role Overview

As a Support Worker within our Enliven program, you will provide personalized care to elderly, disabled, and recovering clients in their homes. Your responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene activities like showering and dressing, medication management, meal preparation, household assistance, and supporting participation in community activities. Care delivery will align with each client’s individualized care plan. The role offers a variety of shifts across weekdays and weekends.

Employment Terms

This position is a fixed-term contract continuing until the end of February 2027.

Candidate Profile

• New Zealand citizen, resident, or holder of an eligible work visa
• Possession of a full New Zealand driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle for client visits (International licenses are not accepted)
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Good command of English—capable of reading care plans and communicating clearly with clients and colleagues
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping diverse individuals
• Commitment to maintaining high professional standards, policies, and procedures
• Empathy for elderly, disabled, and recovering individuals
• Confidence in providing in-home care and support
