Primary Responsibilities
The Support Worker will assist individuals living in supported accommodation who have complex mental health conditions. This involves providing personalized, person-centered care and daily support to improve quality of life. The role requires experienced personnel comfortable working in a supported living environment.
Candidate Requirements
- A genuine passion for positively influencing others' lives
- Experience in mental health support
- Previous work experience in supported living settings
- Driving license is advantageous but not mandatory
- Possession of NVQ Level 2 is preferred but not essential
Facility Details
Glenarie House, the service location, is a historic building surrounded by parkland, with accommodations for up to 16 individuals requiring complex mental health care. The facility includes 16 rooms with shared spaces over three floors, accessible by lift, and is staffed 24 hours a day with waking night shifts.
