Supply Planning Manager

About the Role

Reef Group is looking for a seasoned Supply Planning Manager to oversee and coordinate supply planning efforts throughout the company’s expanding operations based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role entails ensuring that products are consistently available, inventory levels are optimized, and supply strategies are developed in alignment with demand forecasts, supplier capacities, and business objectives.

The Supply Planning Manager will collaborate closely with teams across Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Product, Sales, Retail Operations, E-commerce, and Finance to ensure timely and accurate product availability across various markets and sales platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage supply plans spanning short, medium, and long terms grounded on demand predictions, current inventory, supplier capabilities, lead times, and business needs.
• Maintain product availability while optimizing inventory health and levels.
• Track stock coverage metrics including safety stock, reorder points, inventory turnover, and product availability.
• Detect possible inventory shortages, excess stock, slow-moving items, and supply risks, and establish strategies to address these issues.
• Convert demand forecasts into actionable supply, purchasing, and replenishment plans.
• Oversee supply planning across multiple brands, SKUs, warehouses, stores, online channels, and geographic markets.
• Liaise with Procurement and suppliers concerning production timetables, purchase orders, lead times, and deliveries.
• Contribute to and engage with the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Ensure supply plans reflect promotional activities, new product introductions, seasonal campaigns, store launches, and business growth initiatives.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and identify any constraints or risks to timely supply.
• Assist with inventory allocation and replenishment management across warehouses, retail outlets, and ecommerce channels.
• Develop and oversee supply planning KPIs, reporting, and dashboards for management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Supply Planning team to enhance performance.
• Drive continuous improvements in supply planning methodologies, systems, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• More than 7 years of substantial experience in supply planning, inventory control, supply chain management, or related roles.
• Proven practical expertise in supply planning, inventory optimization strategies, replenishment processes, supplier coordination, and involvement in S&OP.
• Experience managing or leading a supply planning team is required.
• Background in retail, FMCG, beauty, fashion, consumer goods, or other environments involving high volumes of diverse SKUs is particularly desirable.
• Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decisive capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or supply planning software such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Capability to adapt and perform well in a fast-paced, evolving business context.
• Fluent in English with Arabic language skills considered advantageous.
