Visual Merchandising Officer

About the Role

Reef Group is looking for an imaginative and meticulous Visual Merchandising Officer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on applying visual merchandising principles to elevate the aesthetic presentation of products and stores, ensuring a unified and strategic customer experience that aligns with business goals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Apply and maintain visual merchandising standards consistently across all stores and retail outlets.
• Ensure that product exhibitions, store fixtures, signage, and promotional displays comply with company brand identity.
• Assist in the rollout of seasonal campaigns, new product introductions, promotional activities, and special retail events.
• Conduct frequent inspections of retail locations to uphold visual standards and identify areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate effectively with teams from Retail Operations, Marketing, Brand Management, and store leadership to ensure cohesive merchandising efforts.
• Support the arrangement of window displays, interior layouts, product positioning, and creation of promotional zones within stores.
• Maintain visual consistency and presentation quality throughout multiple stores.
• Analyze competitor retail setups and current visual merchandising trends to inform practices.
• Offer feedback and strategic recommendations to improve storefront appearance and customer engagement.
• Facilitate the preparation and distribution of guidelines and instructions for merchandising implementation.
• Monitor store adherence to visual standards and coordinate corrective measures when needed.
• Contribute to merchandising setup for new store openings and renovations.
• Manage and upkeep merchandising materials, display units, and related resources.
• Compile reports and feedback from store visits regarding visual merchandising performance.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in fields such as Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fashion, Marketing, Retail Management, or similar disciplines.
• Demonstrate 2 to 4 years of experience relevant to Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations, Store Design, or related areas.
• Preferably have experience in retail sectors including beauty, fragrance, fashion, cosmetics, or consumer goods.
• Strong knowledge of product showcasing, store layouts, visual merchandising standards, and enhancing customer experience.
• Exhibit a creative mindset coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to translate brand and visual merchandising directives into practical displays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in Arabic and English.
• Effective coordination and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly between store locations to manage implementation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with graphic or design software is an added advantage.
