Company Overview
Trans Asia Saudi for Pipeline Services, located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, specializes in pipeline service solutions tailored for major industrial and energy projects with an emphasis on delivering quality, reliability, and professional support.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire purchasing cycle from Request for Quotation (RFQ) through assessment, negotiation, issuing purchase orders, delivery tracking, and closing of purchases.
- Identify, develop, and maintain trustworthy suppliers locally and internationally for necessary materials, equipment, consumables, and services.
- Negotiate key aspects such as pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions effectively.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to guarantee timely procurement and availability of required resources.
- Monitor supplier reliability, delivery timelines, and overall procurement expenditures continuously.
- Manage logistics operations including transportation, shipping, and customs clearance as required.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, supplier databases, and records of ERP transactions.
- Ensure adherence to corporate procurement policies and necessary approvals throughout the purchasing process.
Candidate Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline is required.
- Proven relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles within industrial or professional settings.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Saudi Arabian supplier base and industry markets, especially in Dammam and the Eastern Province.
- Strong capabilities in sourcing, negotiation, commercial evaluation, and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and follow up efficiently.
- Proficiency in ERP procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are considered advantageous.
