Role Overview
The Supplier Quality Performance Specialist oversees systems and processes to effectively monitor and manage supplier performance across the Source Quality organization. This position supports the quality metrics systems daily and ensures alignment with company and regulatory standards through collaboration with cross-functional teams. It involves identifying quality and service challenges, developing corrective actions, and driving improvements to guarantee the organization’s compliance with quality assurance standards, international regulations, and internal best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine metrics dashboards and reporting tools for Quality Management System (QMS) performance and compliance oversight.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to enhance Supplier Performance Monitoring (SPM) processes and procedures.
- Analyze quality and compliance data to discover trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide governance support by ensuring timely and accurate QMS data reporting.
- Collaborate with Quality, Compliance, and IT departments to maintain data integrity and meet data requirements.
- Support readiness for audits and inspections by supplying relevant quality metrics and analytical insights.
- Maintain documentation standards related to quality analytics and system processes.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to increase transparency, efficiency, and maturity of quality metrics and monitoring.
- Communicate verification and monitoring outcomes regarding supplier performance and quality system effectiveness during management reviews.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or related fields is mandatory.
- At least 6 years of experience in quality engineering, quality systems, data analytics, compliance, or similar roles within regulated industries.
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining dashboards and reports for quality metrics.
- Knowledge of regulatory environments such as 21 CFR 820, Medical Device Directive (MDD), or ISO 13485.
- Strong analytical capabilities with aptitude for translating complex datasets into actionable insights.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits and management reviews with data-driven evidence.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation and data governance skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degrees in analytics, quality, or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with medical device regulations and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience within a global, matrixed organization and exposure to executive-level quality reporting.
- Certifications such as ASQ, RAC, or Power BI.

Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $94,000 and $151,800 annually. Benefits and incentive programs are provided as per company policies and eligibility.
