Quality Validation Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a proficient Quality Validation Engineer to join a prominent Life Sciences company at their new manufacturing site in Kilkenny. This role involves ensuring quality and compliance through the development and management of validation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update Quality System procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate and resolve validation issues related to components, equipment, and operational processes.
• Monitor and uphold the quality and compliance status of relevant quality documentation.
• Author, review, approve, and carry out documentation for both new and existing validation protocols and technical reports concerning components, equipment, products, or processes.
• Support the formulation of corporate validation policies when necessary.
• Maintain the status and compliance of Procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
• Communicate and present updates including status reports, metrics, trend analysis, potential issues, and improvement plans.
• Possess foundational knowledge of design controls and design transfer.
• Contribute to risk analyses and Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 5 years experience within a similar sector.
• Holds a Level 7 NFQ qualification or its equivalent in a related field.
