About the Role

Join Marriott International as a Supervisor for Systems based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, responsible for overseeing technical support and telecommunications activities. This role involves troubleshooting software and system issues, providing technical solutions, and leading process enhancements to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with computer software and related systems.
• Offer expert guidance and suggest solutions to tackle business challenges effectively.
• Analyze current processes and implement improvements to enhance performance.
• Operate computer and peripheral equipment through command entry and control activation.
• Maintain, manage, and support application programs and user accounts to ensure smooth functioning.
• Document daily communication transactions, technical problems, resolutions, and installation activities comprehensively.
• Conduct training sessions to familiarize users with proper hardware and software usage.
• Manage planning, design, operational tasks, maintenance, and resource allocation related to telecommunications, including client/server support and strategic planning.
• Provide consultation on administrative policies, technical challenges, and methods relevant to telecommunications.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
• Model positive behaviors and serve as the initial point of contact for fair treatment policies.
• Foster constructive teamwork, address employee concerns respectfully, and support the achievement of shared goals.
• Comply with company policies, secure assets, and communicate clearly and professionally at all times.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and continuously identify and apply ways to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform required physical activities such as lifting or moving objects up to 10 pounds unaided.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of Technical, Trade, or Vocational School education.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in related technical roles.
• No previous supervisory experience required.
• No mandatory licenses or certifications necessary.
