Job description
About the Role
This position involves assisting with monitoring and tracking employee relations matters, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up, and supporting management in addressing human resources concerns. The role requires overseeing hiring and recruitment activities to guarantee compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies. Additionally, it includes responding to employee and management inquiries related to HR programs and policies, disseminating relevant information on employee relations and activities, and maintaining accurate employee records such as interview documents and verification forms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support leadership in handling employee relations issues and following up on resolutions.
- Ensure recruitment and hiring processes comply with legal and company standards.
- Provide information and assistance regarding HR programs, policies, and guidelines to employees and managers.
- Maintain and verify accurate employee documentation and records.
- Coordinate logistics and administration related to annual employee surveys.
- Manage phone communications including answering calls and recording messages.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching staff.
- Comply with all company safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Deliver professional guest interaction according to company standards.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and support teamwork to achieve goals.
- Handle work-related data and point-of-sale systems as required.
- Physically handle objects up to 10 pounds safely without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
- Minimum of one year in a related human resources role.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
