Job Overview and Responsibilities

As a Supervisor at a leading engineering firm, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless functioning of essential utility systems that support production activities. Your core duties involve planning and implementing preventive maintenance, monitoring consumption of utilities, and managing vendor relationships to maintain smooth operations.

• Guarantee an uninterrupted supply of electricity, compressed air, water, and HVAC to sustain production processes.
• Plan and carry out routine maintenance schedules for equipment including transformers, electrical panels, compressors, chillers, and diesel generator sets.
• Track daily usage of power, diesel, water, and air resources and actively work to control associated energy costs.
• Respond promptly to any utility breakdowns to minimize production stoppages.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations pertaining to electrical safety, pollution controls, and system standards.
• Provide support for new machinery installations by confirming availability of necessary utilities such as power, air supply, cooling, and exhaust setups.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records including single line diagrams (SLD), maintenance logs, and calibration documentation.
• Conduct comprehensive energy audits and initiate energy conservation measures.
• Oversee management of utility vendors, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), and external service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and safety of all utility systems.
