About The Role
Join our team as a Supermarket Assistant where you'll enhance the customer experience through passionate, Partner-led service that sets us apart. Your commitment to exceptional service will help build lasting trust and loyalty from food enthusiasts visiting our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure shelves are consistently well-stocked and products are correctly placed to meet customer needs.
- Prepare online shopping orders efficiently for prompt delivery to customers' homes.
- Minimize food wastage by monitoring product sell-by dates and applying markdowns.
- Collaborate with the wider team supporting various tasks such as checkout assistance, managing Click & Collect orders, and handling on-demand customer requests.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment through general shopkeeping duties.
Skills and Experience
Essential: Effective communication skills to work well both with customers and as a part of the team.
Desirable: Prior experience in customer-facing roles; keen interest and current knowledge of food and drink trends; adaptability to support various branch functions as needed.
