About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned and highly organized Studio Manager to direct daily operations, workflows, resource allocation, and project deliveries within our department. This key position involves overseeing projects from initial briefs to final outputs with efficiency and precision. The role demands strong skills in project management, resource planning, communication, leadership, and problem-solving, with the capability to handle multiple projects, teams, stakeholders, freelancers, and vendors concurrently.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, decisive, people-focused, and well-suited to a dynamic and fast-moving creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily studio operations and manage project workflows.
- Evaluate and refine project briefs to ensure clarity and readiness for execution.
- Oversee creative projects from concept and briefing through completion.
- Set and track project timelines, deadlines, priorities, and deliverables.
- Assign tasks to internal staff, freelancers, and external resources as per project needs.
- Monitor team workloads, attendance, and project progression.
- Detect workflow blockages and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with Creative, Account Management, Marketing, Production, Finance, and other departments.
- Ensure clear communication regarding briefs, schedules, modifications, feedback, and expectations.
- Liaise with clients and account teams to discuss project necessities, timelines, progress, and inputs.
- Manage relationships with freelancers, vendors, and third-party production collaborators.
- Keep track of project expenses and pursue cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain systematic organization of digital assets, project files, and documentation.
- Guarantee timely project delivery with consistent quality standards.
- Provide periodic management reports on project status, resource needs, risks, and studio performance.
- Enhance studio methods, workflows, and practices continuously.
- Support staff growth through mentoring, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Undertake creative production tasks as needed, balancing operational demands.
- Address project challenges and disputes professionally with a focus on solutions.
- Guarantee smooth coordination between internal teams and external parties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Media Production, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Film & Television, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated track record in Studio Management, Creative Project Management, Agency Operations, or comparable roles.
- In-depth knowledge of creative production workflows and project processes.
- Understanding of print and digital media specifications and production methods.
- Experience using creative/design software and managing digital file systems.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team management strengths.
- Capability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize efficiently.
- Skill in coordinating teams, freelancers, vendors, and third-party partners.
- Strong problem-solving and sound decision-making aptitude.
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control in project contexts.
- Ability to collaborate across various departments smoothly.
- High attention to detail and systematic working approach.
- Initiative, accountability, professionalism, and integrity at a high level.
- Resilience in meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure.
- Experience with team training and development is advantageous.
Working Environment
The position is set in a brisk, creative setting where several projects run concurrently. Flexibility is essential as the role may require working beyond normal hours, including nights or weekends, to fulfill urgent deadlines, campaign launches, or pitching activities.
