Role Overview

The Student Recruitment Advisor role is centered on managing enquiries and guiding enrolments to meet or surpass set targets while maintaining a superior service experience for clients and stakeholders. This sales-focused position supports the critical objective of driving new student sign-ups for Yoobee Colleges.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage sales enquiries to swiftly convert leads into appointments and enrolments across the Auckland campus.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including Student Enrolment Advisors at other campuses, Business Development, and Short Course teams to align recruitment efforts.
• Build comprehensive knowledge of courses, employment outcomes, and market positioning to effectively communicate value to prospective students.
• Stay informed on programme updates, educational processes, and comply with NZQA and TEC standards along with internal policies.
• Strictly adhere to TEC rules, the Code of Practice, and company policies throughout enrolment processes.

Candidate Profile

• Enthusiastic about working in a customer and people-focused setting, with the ability to quickly establish rapport through authentic and engaging communication.
• Preferably recent experience as a student or involvement in student-centered environments such as internships or peer support roles.
• Interest or early exposure to the creative or technology sectors via studies, projects, or personal initiatives.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and open to learning new CRM tools.
• Passionate about facilitating others’ success and advocating positively for students.
• Capable of thriving in diverse, collaborative, and inclusive work environments.
• Self-motivated with initiative and able to independently manage responsibilities.
