Student Aide - Immediate Openings Across UAE

Role Overview

We are urgently seeking energetic and dependable Student Aides for a government client, with multiple openings across the United Arab Emirates including Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Ajman, Fujairah, and Khor Fakkan. The Student Aide plays a vital role in offering classroom, behavioral, and physical support to Students of Determination. This role is essential to creating a secure, inclusive, and encouraging educational setting that helps each student realize their academic and personal potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Adapt educational materials under supervision to meet the needs of students.
• Assist students in navigating daily classroom lessons and activities.
• Promote independent learning and active participation within the classroom.
• Accompany students during transitions such as between classes, breaks, and bus commutes.
• Support physical mobility, correct positioning, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene, care, and feeding when required.
• Maintain a safe environment by managing physical risks proactively.
• Follow established behavior management plans and administer positive interventions.
• Employ patience and calm strategies to defuse challenging behaviors.
• Encourage social interactions and peer relationships during school hours.
• Offer emotional support to boost student self-confidence.
• Communicate effectively in English with teachers, therapists, students, and other stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively on a daily basis with class teachers, therapists, and special needs teams.
• Document student progress, behavior incidents, and daily successes accurately.

Requirements

• Educational qualification: Minimum of a high school certificate or higher academic credentials.
• Professional experience: At least one year in related roles such as Shadow Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Caregiver, Nursery Assistant, or Special Needs Support.
• Language skills: Proficient verbal and written communication in English and Tagalog.
• Physical and medical fitness adequate for supporting student mobility and safety.
• Personal traits: Must be exceptionally patient, compassionate, empathetic, and resilient.
