Structural Fitter

Role Summary

The structural fitter will be responsible for fabricating structural components by following engineering drawings and adhering to project quality standards, mainly at the Mumbai workshop or offshore platform.

Key Duties

• Analyze and interpret fabrication and structural drawings accurately.
• Precisely mark plates and structural materials for cutting and assembly.
• Perform cutting, bevelling, drilling, fitting, and assembly of various structural components.
• Create platforms, supports, frames, brackets, and other structural elements.
• Ensure dimensions and tolerances meet specified requirements.
• Collaborate closely with welders and other fitters to complete fabrication work.
• Uphold the set standards for quality and safety during fabrication tasks.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience working in heavy fabrication, especially within oil & gas or shipyard sectors.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good understanding of structural steel fabrication processes.
• Possession of trade qualification is advantageous.

Additional Information

• Number of Positions: 35
• Compensation at Workshop: ₹1330 per day
• Compensation Offshore: ₹1730 per day
• Perks include food and accommodation at project site, and offshore allowance as per project or contractor policies.
• Required documentation includes updated CV, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, passport, police clearance certificate, work experience certificates, BOSIET/offshore safety certificate (if applicable), educational and trade certificates, photographs, and medical fitness certificates.
