Role Overview
The Strategic Delivery Partner position is integral to translating organizational strategy into actionable programs. Collaborating closely with executives and senior management, this role ensures key strategic initiatives are clearly scoped, resourced, and executed effectively, driving timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert complex strategies and priorities into defined initiatives with clear success criteria and responsible owners.
- Assess and verify the feasibility, sequence, and resource allocation of delivery plans ensuring cross-portfolio coherence.
- Maintain progress momentum by engaging with sponsors and teams, identifying issues proactively, and implementing needed corrective actions.
- Intervene to resolve bottlenecks or to stabilize programmes at risk, ensuring continuity and delivery confidence.
- Provide leaders with transparent, actionable insights and well-prepared decision-making materials reflecting delivery status.
Candidate Profile
We seek an experienced, commercially savvy professional adept at navigating fast-moving, complex project environments. Candidates should demonstrate:
- Substantial experience in program delivery, transformation initiatives, strategy development, consulting, or business improvements.
- A proven history of rescuing or stabilizing complex projects.
- Expertise operating within matrixed and multi-stakeholder settings.
- Strong commercial acumen with a governance mindset focused on value realization and outcomes.
- Capability to handle ambiguity, deliver clarity, and facilitate decisive actions.
Personal Attributes
- Proactive, hands-on leader with a focus on execution.
- Pragmatic problem-solver driven by a strong action orientation.
- Comfortable working under pressure while effectively engaging senior leaders.
- Skilled at early risk identification and constructive intervention.
Preferred Experience
Experience within major infrastructure or capital projects is strongly desirable.
