About the Role

Downer invites applicants to join their permanent team at Holsworthy Barracks as a Storeperson. The company has secured the Property and Asset Services contract managing base and estate services for NSW/ACT and QLD regions, furthering their long-standing collaboration with the Australian Defence Force. Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and dispatching materials and equipment accurately
• Processing purchase requisitions and handling invoice workflows
• Coordinating with suppliers regarding deliveries and scheduling
• Ensuring adherence to Defence security protocols, including managing DCAC cards
• Serving as the point of contact for staff requests related to stores and consumables

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in store or warehouse administration, ideally within Defence, facilities, or construction sectors
• Familiarity with stock control systems and ERP/CMMS, such as SAP, MDO, or GEMS
• Understanding of Work Health and Safety regulations, particularly around chemical and hazardous goods storage
• Strong communication skills complemented by excellent customer service
• Mandatory forklift license
