About the Role

The chosen candidate will support seamless warehouse operations, upholding stringent standards of accuracy, safety, and tidiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept, examine, and properly store incoming goods and freight materials.
• Keep inventory records up to date and systematically track stock status.
• Observe stock quantities and alert supervisors about restocking needs.
• Distribute materials and supplies to authorized staff with thorough documentation.
• Arrange warehouse items to optimize space utilization and accessibility.
• Perform routine stock checks and assist during inventory audits and reconciliations.
• Cross-check deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and related paperwork.
• Accurately log stock receipts, transfers, returns, and shipments.
• Liaise with logistics, procurement, and warehouse teams regarding inventory needs.
• Ensure careful handling of stored materials to avoid damage or loss.
• Keep the warehouse environment clean, orderly, and safe.
• Report any damaged, missing, or expired stock to supervisors promptly.
• Manage inventory data using spreadsheets or warehouse management systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Additional diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, or related disciplines is beneficial.
• Between 2 and 4 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or Inventory Controller.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock control procedures.
• Familiarity with inventory management software, ERP tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and record maintenance skills.
• High attention to detail and precision.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Capability to operate effectively in a dynamic logistics environment.
