Overview

Key Responsibilities

As Store Manager, your duties include recruiting, managing, and guiding associates to meet financial targets while ensuring outstanding customer experiences at your store. You will be accountable for the overall success and performance of your location.

Training and Development

Panda Express provides at least eight weeks of paid store management leadership training to prepare you fully for your role and ongoing success.

Candidate Requirements

  • High school diploma is mandatory
  • Willingness to relocate to a store within 50 miles of your residence
  • Availability for a flexible schedule including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as per business needs
  • Certification in Food Safety (Serve Safe)

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The role requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment that can be hot and noisy, with limited space. You must be able to stand for prolonged periods (up to four hours), lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), perform repetitive tasks using kitchen equipment such as Chinese cook knives, and communicate effectively. Adaptability and strong conflict management skills are essential.

Salary Details
