About the Role and Company
Panda Express, the leading American Chinese dining concept with nearly 2,800 locations worldwide, seeks an experienced Assistant Manager to join its store management team in Marysville, CA. This role involves overseeing daily store operations, including associate management, financial goal attainment, and delivering outstanding guest service. Panda Express emphasizes the development of its employees through mentorship and paid leadership training.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in running a single restaurant location by hiring, guiding, and managing team members to meet financial targets and ensure superior customer experiences. You will be supported by a comprehensive store leadership training program lasting at least three weeks to set you up for success.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma is mandatory.
- Must be willing to relocate within a 50-mile radius from home, if required.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including openings, closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business demands.
- Food safety certification such as Serve Safe is required.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environments involving standing for long periods, handling hot and cold foods, using kitchen tools like Chinese cook knives, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adapting to high noise levels.
