Key Responsibilities

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for operating a single Panda Express location. Your duties include recruiting, supervising, and leading store associates to meet financial targets while ensuring excellent guest service. Your leadership plays a vital role in the overall success of the store. To equip you for this, we'll provide an extensive paid store leadership training program lasting at least eight weeks.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory
• Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius from your residence if needed
• Availability for flexible working hours, which typically include opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands
• Food safety certification such as ServSafe

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The work involves standing for extended periods in a hot kitchen environment exposed to steam and food vapors. Employees will handle hot and cold food preparation using kitchen equipment including Chinese cook knives. Manual tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and reaching across counters approximately 36 inches high. The kitchen environment is fast-paced with high noise levels and limited storage. Effective communication skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and conflict management abilities are essential.
