Store Manager

Overview

Panda Express is seeking experienced leaders to join our store management team. We are dedicated to nurturing the growth and success of our associates through paid Store Management Leadership Training, extensive mentorship, and ongoing support from our caring community.

Key Responsibilities

As a Store Manager, you will oversee the entire store operation, which includes recruiting, directing, and managing employees to meet financial targets while ensuring memorable guest experiences. Success of the store directly depends on your leadership and management skills.

Training

We provide a comprehensive store leadership training program lasting eight or more weeks to equip you with the necessary skills to thrive in this role.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius of your home
• Availability for flexible working hours including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
• Certification in Food Safety through Serve Safe

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The work setting involves exposure to hot steam tables and food vapors. Staff often stand for prolonged periods and handle hot and cold food preparation using kitchen tools like the Chinese cook knife. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for up to four hours, and reaching across counters. The kitchen environment can be noisy with limited storage space and high shelving. Effective communication, adaptability, and conflict management skills are essential for success in this fast-paced setting.

Compensation Details

The pay range for this role is $28 to $31 per hour. Individual compensation is based on factors such as location and experience. Bonus eligibility is variable and subject to program changes without prior notice.
