Position Overview
This role requires managing retail store operations focusing on electronic products, toys, and general retail or wholesale distribution environments. The store manager is responsible for overseeing staff, managing merchandise, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and allocate tasks among staff members effectively.
- Decide on merchandise lines and services offered to customers.
- Assess and fulfill staffing needs to maintain operational efficiency.
- Handle customer requests, complaints, and manage supply shortfalls.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise employees and volunteers to build a productive team.
- Plan, direct, organize, control, and assess daily retail activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
- Professional experience of three to less than five years in a similar setting.
- Must undergo a criminal record check for security clearance.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Fast-paced retail environment requiring ability to work under pressure.
- Must handle tight deadlines efficiently with a strong attention to detail.
- Standing for extended periods is expected during shifts.
