About the Role

As a Store Manager at Specsavers in Salamander Bay, New South Wales, you will play a crucial role in shaping both your team's success and your own career development. This full-time position involves collaborating closely with the Retail Director to ensure smooth and efficient daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing team through effective scheduling, training initiatives, conducting performance appraisals, and recruiting new team members.
• Supervise daily store functions to maintain excellent customer service standards, uphold retail protocols, and ensure efficient workflow within the store.
• Manage financial performance by overseeing budgets, monitoring expenses, setting sales targets, and utilizing marketing strategies to foster business growth.
• Coach the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences, ensuring a consistently high level of service and customer care.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations, as well as oversee stock management and roster coordination.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience leading teams in retail or healthcare environments is required; however, industry-specific background is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing strategic relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ongoing aftercare.
• A strong team player who collaborates effectively and builds positive customer rapport.
