Job Overview
The Store Manager oversees daily retail operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. Responsibilities include supervising performance, recruiting and training staff, scheduling, managing inventory, maintaining store presentation and safety standards, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all store operations and enforce adherence to company policies.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team to achieve performance targets.
- Engage in visual merchandising, restocking shelves, and handling daily shipments.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and handle complex issues effectively.
- Implement and uphold visual standards throughout the store.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Manage cash handling duties as well as store opening and closing procedures.
- Provide performance feedback and delegate tasks efficiently.
- Perform management duties during shifts, including monitoring breaks and attendance.
- Responsible for hiring new employees and conducting performance evaluations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least two years of retail experience.
- Minimum two years of experience managing a team.
- Flexible availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
- Excellent communication skills and sound decision-making abilities.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
