Store Manager - Macpac Adelaide Airport

About the Role

Take charge as the Store Manager at Macpac's busy Adelaide Airport location, leading a supportive team in a high-traffic retail environment. We are seeking a proactive Store Manager or an ambitious Assistant Store Manager eager to advance. This position involves hands-on leadership and team motivation within a well-established outlet.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of 7 or more staff members, fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
• Ensure excellent customer service standards and celebrate team achievements.
• Oversee daily store operations, including health and safety compliance, store security, visual merchandising, stock control, and basic financial reporting.
• Drive floor sales and provide effective training to the team.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in management roles, ideally in retail.
• Ability to manage diverse personalities and motivate the team effectively.
• Strong background in customer service excellence.
• Skills in visual merchandising, stock management, safety protocols, and financial reporting.
• Previous experience in outlet or Direct Factory Outlet (DFO) settings is a significant advantage.

Preferred Attributes

While direct experience with outdoor apparel and equipment is not essential, a passion for outdoor activities and travel is highly desirable.
