Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic business leader to manage our Hype DC Belconnen store. The Store Manager will be instrumental in driving the brand vision, fostering a high-performance team environment, and achieving excellent operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture a people-first environment by empowering and mentoring the store team.
  • Build a world-class team and cultivate a positive and vibrant store atmosphere.
  • Lead the store’s financial performance by managing sales goals and key performance indicators.
  • Consistently embody and execute the brand’s vision and strategic initiatives.
  • Spend approximately 80% of your time on the floor ensuring exceptional customer experiences and decisions centered around customer needs.
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to enhance team results.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding of store personnel.
  • Ensure a seamless omni-channel shopping experience for customers.
  • Maintain outstanding visual merchandising standards to present the store as best in class.
  • Promote a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive store environment for both customers and staff.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven team player with strong capabilities across sales, operations, and talent development.
  • Passionate about delivering superior customer experiences.
  • Skilled coaching and motivation abilities to develop a large team of brand ambassadors.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a premium, fast-paced retail setting with a demonstrated record of meeting sales and KPI targets.
  • Driven leader with a proactive, "Make it Happen" attitude.
  • Strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Experienced in managing staff rosters efficiently to meet cost targets.
