About the Role
Join Anaconda as a Store Manager and lead a team in our new Grafton location, dedicated to ensuring every customer receives an exceptional shopping experience. You will oversee a team exceeding 30 employees in a vibrant and fast-paced big-box retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a large retail team, fostering a driven and positive work environment.
- Manage store performance by applying expertise in profit and loss management, key performance indicators, and market trend forecasting.
- Oversee daily operations including stock control and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain excellent standards of store presentation and visual merchandising to attract customers.
- Focus firmly on providing outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
- Develop and mentor staff to cultivate future leaders and ensure a sustainable talent pipeline.
- Set ambitious targets and work collaboratively to achieve and exceed goals while maintaining an enjoyable workplace.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience within a large-format retail environment.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams of over 30 members.
- Strong financial skills with hands-on experience in P&L oversight and forecasting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication competencies.
- Capability to handle and manage significant stock levels efficiently.
- A passion for outdoor activities and the adventure lifestyle is highly regarded.
- First Aid certification or readiness to undertake required training.
- Availability for full-time work including weekends.
- Must possess full legal working rights in Australia.
