Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of daily retail operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company standards. Key duties involve overseeing merchandising, staff recruitment and training, scheduling, inventory oversight, and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage store operations ensuring full compliance with company policies and operational standards.
- Motivate and develop store personnel to meet and exceed performance goals.
- Support merchandising efforts by overseeing stocking and unpacking of shipments.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and handle complex customer concerns effectively.
- Maintain visual merchandising quality to company specifications.
- Ensure store cleanliness and safety protocols are upheld.
- Manage cash operations including store opening and closing procedures.
- Provide performance feedback and delegate responsibilities among team members.
- Lead recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluation processes within the store.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two years of experience in retail management, including team leadership.
- Availability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and sound decision-making capabilities.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on problem-solving.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving retail environment.
