Job description
Role Overview
As a Store Manager Express at our Asda Express location in Yeovil, you will lead a small team to drive sales performance, uphold operational standards, and achieve key result areas (KRAs). You will be the pivotal force motivating staff, fostering positive morale, and building a customer-focused environment that encourages repeat visits. Supporting Asda’s pricing strategies and maintaining cost efficiency will also be key responsibilities.
Work Schedule
The position involves a rotating schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and occasional late-night shifts, totaling 45 hours per week during daytime hours.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic retail setting, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. You should be naturally personable and eager to collaborate with your team to achieve outstanding results. Leadership qualities, including strong coaching, mentoring, and people management skills, are essential. Additionally, you will be expected to handle sensitive management matters such as disciplinary issues and grievances professionally, along with overseeing staff rota planning and holiday management.
