About the Role

Key Responsibilities

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations of a single location. This encompasses recruiting, leading, and directing associates to meet financial objectives and consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will play a pivotal role in driving the store’s success.

New external hires enter as Store Managers within our General Manager development program. This role aims to build a strong foundation in Panda's operational practices, culture, and leadership standards, preparing you for progression to General Manager.

Training and Advancement

To support your growth, we provide a minimum of 12 weeks of store leadership training. Following comprehensive evaluations and successful completion of our General Manager certification course (GO100), you will qualify for promotion to General Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius of current residence
• Availability to work flexible schedules including opening, closing, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business demands
• Food Safety certification such as Serve Safe

Work Environment and Physical Requirements (ADA Statement)

The role involves working in hot, steamy kitchen environments with exposure to food vapors. Employees frequently stand for extended periods and must prepare foods using kitchen tools like Chinese cook knives. Lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for up to four hours, and reaching across counters up to 36 inches high are required. The work environment is fast-paced, noisy, and involves limited storage space with high shelving. Effective verbal communication, adaptability to changes, and conflict management skills are essential.
