Store Manager

About the Role

Join Panda Express, a leader in the American Chinese restaurant industry with nearly 2,800 locations worldwide. We seek experienced leaders to oversee our store operations in Blacksburg, VA. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for running all aspects of a single store, including hiring and leading your team to meet financial targets while providing outstanding guest service. We invest in your growth through a paid leadership training program of at least eight weeks, mentoring, and community support to ensure your success and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall store operations, focusing on achieving financial goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Recruit, hire, and direct associates effectively to build a strong team.
• Maintain operational standards in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Minimum education requirement: high school diploma.
• Flexibility to relocate within a 50-mile radius from current residence if needed.
• Availability to work varied schedules including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business requirements.
• Certified in Food Safety (Serve Safe certification).

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The role requires standing for extended periods, handling hot foods and kitchen equipment, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Kitchens can be hot and noisy with space constraints. Effective verbal communication and adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work setting are essential. Managing conflict and challenging situations professionally is expected.
