About the Role
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day retail activities, ensuring that all operations comply with company standards including visual merchandising, staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all store functions, making sure policies and procedures are followed.
- Lead and inspire store employees to meet and exceed performance objectives.
- Assist with merchandising tasks such as unpacking shipments and stocking shelves.
- Provide exceptional customer service, managing complex customer concerns effectively.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising throughout the store.
- Ensure a clean, safe environment within the store at all times.
- Manage cash handling, as well as store opening and closing duties.
- Conduct performance reviews and allocate tasks to team members.
- Oversee the recruitment process and manage employee performance evaluations.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two years of experience in retail with a focus on managing teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills coupled with sound decision-making abilities.
- Proven leadership capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
- Competent in multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
