Store Manager

About the Role

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day retail activities, ensuring that all operations comply with company standards including visual merchandising, staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions, making sure policies and procedures are followed.
• Lead and inspire store employees to meet and exceed performance objectives.
• Assist with merchandising tasks such as unpacking shipments and stocking shelves.
• Provide exceptional customer service, managing complex customer concerns effectively.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising throughout the store.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment within the store at all times.
• Manage cash handling, as well as store opening and closing duties.
• Conduct performance reviews and allocate tasks to team members.
• Oversee the recruitment process and manage employee performance evaluations.

Candidate Requirements

• At least two years of experience in retail with a focus on managing teams.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong communication skills coupled with sound decision-making abilities.
• Proven leadership capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
• Competent in multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
