Role Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for managing the daily functions of a retail outlet, ensuring compliance with company standards spanning merchandising, staff management, scheduling, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of store operations adhering to company policies.
- Lead, motivate, and nurture the development of store team members to fulfill business objectives.
- Support merchandising activities, including stocking and unpacking shipments daily.
- Offer exceptional customer service while addressing and resolving complex customer issues.
- Maintain and uphold visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
- Ensure overall store safety and cleanliness standards are met consistently.
- Oversee cash handling, as well as store opening and closing procedures.
- Deliver performance feedback and assign responsibilities to team members.
- Manage recruitment processes and employee evaluations.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ experience in retail along with proven team leadership skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills coupled with sound decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional leadership qualities and adept problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
