Stocking 3 Team Lead

Overview

This role supports the leadership of overnight stocking teams and manages department processes at Walmart Canada, ensuring smooth operations, responding to queries, and promoting associate development through training and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and coordinate task completion according to priorities communicated by the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
• Evaluate store department presentation and appearance, identify areas needing improvement, and implement necessary merchandising display adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with team members, leading daily Team Huddles at shift start to share updates, set targets, and monitor team productivity.
• Ensure all valuable merchandise is secured properly, verify all doors and lockups are locked when not in use, and perform daily audits following established programs.
• Collaborate with the People Lead to review completed schedules.
• Conduct area tours with the Coach and team members to identify training needs, develop associates through instruction and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to company policies and safety protocols, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring fixtures and displays are secure.
• Perform GTA/Workday administrative tasks and assist Management as required.
• Work with Coach and People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth discussions for associates; assist in recruiting and hiring new team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.

Additional Information

The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.75.
