Key Responsibilities

• Accurately select and assemble customer orders from varied temperature zones to ensure timely delivery.
• Carefully pack orders by verifying product choices, quantities, and associated codes.
• Choose fresh and high-grade products, discarding any damaged or unsuitable items.
• Accurately complete all required documentation, including pick slips and shipping labels.
• Efficiently organize packing totes maximizing space without compromising product safety or quality.
• Support customers and team operations by balancing order fulfillment with providing assistance and resolving issues.
• Maintain a clean and secure workspace through compliance with food hygiene and safety measures, promptly cleaning spills, and ensuring totes are sanitized before usage.
• Operate equipment safely, perform required safety inspections, and suggest improvements to processes, productivity, and customer service.
• Demonstrate flexibility by being available for a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.

Challenges of the Role

• Manage high volumes of tasks efficiently during fast-paced periods, ensuring restocking and recovery activities are completed accurately and punctually.
• Handle overnight shifts by effectively planning and maintaining energy and focus.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long durations, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive tasks like stocking, zoning, and organizing merchandise with diligence to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $15.50.
