About the Role
Join Walmart Canada as a Produce Stocker, where you'll gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the produce department's cleanliness, organization, and clear zoning at all times to ensure readiness for customers.
- Regularly rotate stock and remove expired items to guarantee product freshness and quality.
- Ensure all produce is accurately priced and properly signed, adhering to procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, labels, and signage.
- Comply with food safety standards, including sanitation, cold chain management, temperature monitoring, proper food handling, and adherence to sell-by and expiration dates.
- Stock and downstock merchandise as required, apply product protection when necessary, and set up displays such as modulars, flex modulars, and shelf caps to keep the department fully stocked.
- Follow all health and safety policies to maintain a safe and clean workplace.
- Be flexible with work schedule by being open to shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays to support store operations.
Challenges in the Role
- Handle a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment, including overnight shifts, while effectively managing energy and focus.
- Complete large amounts of restocking and recovery work accurately and on time.
- Perform physical duties such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Carry out repetitive tasks including stocking, zoning, and organizing products with consistent attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Compensation
The minimum hourly wage for this position starts at $16.35.
