About the Role
Joining Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate offers a hands-on opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment. In this position, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth store operations through unloading shipments, processing incoming merchandise, and moving stock to the sales floor, all within a safe and orderly workspace. Your efforts contribute to delivering a positive experience to customers and supporting the overall success of the store. Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately from various temperature-controlled areas to help ensure timely deliveries.
- Confirm product choices, counts, and codes carefully while packing orders.
- Maintain product quality by selecting fresh items and removing damaged goods, completing all required documentation such as pick slips and shipping labels accurately.
- Optimize tote packing by efficiently using space without compromising product quality or safety standards.
- Balance order fulfillment tasks with positive customer engagement by assisting and resolving customer issues as needed.
- Follow safety, food hygiene, and quality protocols by keeping work areas clean, managing spills promptly, and ensuring cleanliness of totes before use.
- Operate equipment safely and perform mandatory safety checks.
- Demonstrate adaptability by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.
- Contribute ideas to enhance operational processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Challenges
- Effectively manage high-volume, fast-paced workload particularly during overnight shifts, by maintaining focus and energy.
- Complete extensive restocking and recovery tasks efficiently, meeting accuracy and timeliness expectations.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting supplies up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Execute repetitive duties such as stocking and organizing products consistently to uphold store standards.

Compensation
The position offers a starting hourly pay rate of $17.75 CAD.
