Stock Unloader Associate

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and assemble customer orders from various temperature-controlled areas, ensuring correct product selection, quantities, and codes for timely delivery.
• Maintain product quality by selecting fresh items and removing damaged goods, and complete all associated paperwork precisely, including pick slips and shipping labels.
• Efficiently pack orders to optimize space without compromising product safety or quality.
• Support customers and team members by balancing order fulfillment tasks with positive interactions and resolving issues as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols, food hygiene standards, and quality guidelines by keeping the work area clean, promptly handling spills, and operating equipment safely.
• Demonstrate flexibility with work schedules, including willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Challenges in the Role

• Managing a high volume of tasks in a fast-moving environment, including overnight shifts, while maintaining energy and focus.
• Physically demanding duties such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory up to 50 lbs., as well as performing repetitive stocking and organizing activities with consistent attention to detail.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is CAD 19.50 per hour.
