About the Role
Join Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate where you will gain valuable hands-on experience within a fast-paced retail workplace. In this position, you'll ensure the smooth operation of the store by unloading merchandise from trailers, processing the goods, and transporting pallets to the sales floor, all while maintaining safety and cleanliness in your work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick, pack, and prepare customer orders by selecting items from various temperature zones, ensuring order precision and timely delivery.
- Maintain product quality by choosing fresh and undamaged merchandise and accurately completing all related documentation such as pick slips and shipping labels.
- Pack orders efficiently to optimize space use, while upholding product safety and quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by balancing order fulfillment tasks with friendly assistance and problem solving as needed.
- Adhere to food hygiene, safety protocols, and cleaning procedures, including prompt spill response and ensuring totes are clean before packing.
- Operate equipment safely and carry out compulsory safety inspections.
- Demonstrate flexibility regarding shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business needs.
- Contribute suggestions to improve operational processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Challenges of the Role
- Manage a high workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including overnight shifts, requiring planning to maintain energy and focus.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory up to 50 lbs with attention to detail in stocking and organizing.

Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.50.
