Key Responsibilities

• Set up and reset the Receiving Area and unload merchandise from trailers, including live unloading of remaining items.
• Adhere to cold chain protocols for refrigerated and frozen goods and move merchandise pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Support sales floor stocking tasks and provide customer assistance as needed to enhance the shopping experience.
• Label and organize overstock merchandise in designated areas to maintain efficient inventory management.
• Ensure workplace safety and cleanliness by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures.
• Maintain flexibility in schedule by being available for various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands.

Potential Challenges

• Manage high volumes of work in a fast-paced, overnight environment while staying energized and focused.
• Handle extensive restocking and recovery tasks efficiently and accurately within shift timelines.
• Perform physically demanding duties such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, along with repetitive stocking and zoning activities requiring attention to detail.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.90.
