Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable, organised, and detail-focused Stock Control Officer to join our team. This role involves managing inventory levels, maintaining precise stock records, and ensuring products are stored appropriately across our retail locations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee stock quantities at all company outlets to ensure availability meets customer needs.
• Prevent both surpluses and shortages by maintaining balanced inventory levels.
• Maintain detailed tracking of stock movements and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow up on outstanding customer orders to facilitate timely delivery.
• Conduct regular stock audits including physical counts and random checks.
• Generate comprehensive stock reports to inform management decisions.
• Identify and report discrepancies such as missing, damaged, or incorrect stock.
• Collaborate with logistics and other departments to address stock or delivery challenges.
• Assist in organising stock placement to optimise accessibility and storage standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Residence in Malta is mandatory for application consideration.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in stock control, inventory management, or a related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Shireburn software will be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational abilities with capability to multitask effectively.
• Meticulous attention to detail ensuring accuracy in all stock-related activities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively.
• Physically capable of lifting and transporting stock items when necessary.
• Fluent in Maltese and English languages.
• Holder of a valid driving licence.
