Job Overview

We are searching for skilled Steel Fixers to contribute to a significant infrastructure endeavor located in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire. This role involves interpreting reinforcement drawings, accurately cutting, bending and securing steel reinforcement bars, constructing reinforcement cages, and ensuring all work aligns with specifications prior to concrete pouring.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret reinforcement drawings accurately.
• Cut, bend, and fix steel reinforcement as per project plans.
• Assemble reinforcement cages with precision for concrete structures.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety during all tasks.
• Collaborate effectively within a team on a large-scale civil engineering project.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience working on substantial infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Possession of a valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card is mandatory.
• Completion of a Safety Critical Medical exam is required.
• Willingness to adhere to site safety policies, including drug and alcohol testing.
