About the Role

Join a newly formed London fit-out main contracting company based around Liverpool Street, London, with backing from an established construction group. This growing business is expanding its presence in the London fit out market and seeks an Estimator to help drive growth and shape the company's operations alongside senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates and cost plans for fit-out projects.
• Review tender requests, enquiry documents, drawings, and specifications thoroughly.
• Evaluate project requirements to identify commercial and construction implications.
• Request and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate tender enquiries and manage quotation collection.
• Build precise, competitive, and commercially sound tender submissions.
• Spot opportunities, risks, and areas for value engineering improvements.
• Collaborate closely with the pre-construction and project teams to propose feasible and financially viable construction plans.
• Support tender presentations and engage with clients when necessary.
• Foster strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
• Contribute to improving estimating processes and best practices as the company grows.
