About the Role
KBR is a leading company composed of innovators, creators, and visionaries united by a commitment to improving the world safely and responsibly. We seek a Static Technician III to maintain static equipment and piping systems in optimal condition through installation, maintenance, and repair tasks within the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive work orders, instructions, specifications, and drawings from supervisors and execute tasks accordingly.
- Lead a team of technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Operate specialized heavy-duty tools and basic machine tools including grinders, power saws, drill presses, threading machines, sourced from the central tool room.
- Perform installation and maintenance activities following SATORP procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct required testing such as hydrostatic and pneumatic tests on equipment and piping.
- Secure all necessary work permits prior to the commencement of tasks.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards established by SATORP and report near misses or unsafe conditions promptly.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices during and after job completion.
- Complete assignments to the prescribed quality standards and within scheduled timelines.
- Consult supervisors regarding any technical problems or uncertainties.
- Participate in scheduled safety and technical training sessions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years experience in oil and gas maintenance if holding a high school diploma.
- At least 2 years experience in oil and gas maintenance if holding a diploma.
- Possession of a valid certification from a recognized third-party or accredited Saudi institute verifying competency to perform required work.
- In-depth technical knowledge of maintenance management within oil and gas facilities.
- Strong organizational skills and proactive approach coupled with excellent communication abilities.

This position is located in Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, and requires onsite attendance. Candidates must comply with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. The role emphasizes leadership of technician teams and adherence to company standards and procedures.
