Role Overview
The Stakeholder Coordinator will oversee and facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams and external parties such as regulatory authorities, utility providers, and other stakeholders. The role ensures all stakeholder requirements and approvals are secured in a timely manner to allow smooth progress of infrastructure or engineering projects without disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and document all relevant project stakeholders including authorities, utility companies, and third-party entities.
- Coordinate the acquisition of stakeholder approvals, permits, and no-objection certificates (NOCs).
- Manage communications between internal project teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Monitor and track stakeholder-related deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met promptly.
- Resolve conflicts or issues arising from stakeholder demands or project constraints.
- Assist in integrating stakeholder requirements into the design and construction planning processes.
- Maintain up-to-date stakeholder logs and reporting systems to provide project transparency.
Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years' experience handling stakeholder relations within infrastructure or engineering-related projects. Experience liaising with rail or transportation authorities is considered an advantage.
Educational Qualification
A technical or engineering-related university degree is required for this position.
