The Senior Digital Engineer specializing in BIM management plays a crucial role in overseeing BIM processes for construction projects, ensuring high standards and effective collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, apply, and enforce standardized BIM workflows and protocols to maintain consistency across projects.
  • Manage coordination among architects, engineers, and contractors to smoothly integrate BIM processes.
  • Lead the creation, updating, and maintenance of BIM models and shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks on BIM models and related deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to project teams regarding BIM technologies and best practices.
  • Administer BIM software, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and evaluating new technological tools.
  • Design and implement BIM execution plans to meet project milestones, budgets, and timelines efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
  • Extensive hands-on expertise with BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction workflows and shop drawing requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in BIM management is required.
